Hi, I’m Dominique Davenport—a passionate advocate for self-care, a natural hair care stylist, and a busy mom who understands the challenges of juggling life. Whether it’s managing little ones who are always on the go, dealing with picky eaters, balancing school, co-parenting and relationships, or finding time to work out, eat healthy, and maintain a social life, I’ve been there.

I created EmpowerHerEssence to be a space where women, especially Black women, can find support and guidance in caring for themselves—physically, mentally, and spiritually. While I specialize in braids and protective styles that enhance your natural beauty, my mission goes beyond hair.
